Stages of Osteoarthritis
You will discover a chart detailing the different stages of osteoarthritis, their associated symptoms, and how they present themselves that can be used to visually explain a patient's stage of the condition and the risks of leaving it untreated.
This chart outlines the different stages of osteoarthritis, including their associated symptoms and how each stage presents itself. Additionally, this information is available on the Knee Pain Poster as well.
This resource can be utilized during both Day 1 and Day 2 processes for a variety of situations. For instance, it can be used to visually explain to patients the stage of their condition and what may occur if it is left untreated.
In this training, we will provide guidance on how to effectively communicate this information to patients. By identifying the stage of degeneration, you are indicating where the patient currently stands and emphasizing the importance of preventing further progression.
