MAP Function Ladder Overview
You will learn how to use the MAP Functional Movement Ladder to connect a patient’s home movement plan to the everyday activities they want to regain.
Improving movement is most meaningful when it translates into something your patient wants or needs to do in daily life. The MAP Functional Movement Ladder provides a structured way to make that connection while allowing you to individualize progression based on each patient’s abilities, goals, and response to care.
In this training, you’ll learn how the Functional Movement Ladder works across the MAP pathways for the knee, shoulder, low back, and neck. The video explains how to select meaningful functional activities, determine an appropriate starting point, progress patients safely, and use measurable feedback to guide your clinical decisions.
By watching this training, you’ll better understand how to move beyond simply assigning exercises and use MAP to help patients work toward meaningful improvements in everyday function.
