Feet Neuropathy Exam Training

You will learn how to properly conduct a neuropathy exam on the feet, including setting parameters with the patient, using baseline tissue area and a 1 to 10 sensitivity scale, and effectively communicating with the patient to obtain accurate results

During this training, we will demonstrate a proper neuropathy feet exam that emphasizes the importance of effective communication with the patient to obtain accurate results.

To achieve the most accurate results, we will be using baseline tissue area to compare everything to, and a sensitivity scale of 1 to 10 to determine the level of sensitivity. We will also introduce the necessary tools and equipment for the exam, and provide guidance on how to explain the scoring system to the patient.

In addition, this training will cover how to set up the patient for the exam, including opening up a conversation to establish expectations, and ensuring that the patient fully understands the procedure. By following these steps and taking the time to set up the exam correctly, you can provide accurate and reliable assessments of neuropathy in your patients, and provide effective treatment to improve their quality of life.
