Core Values
You will learn how to build your Core Values as a team and how this will help to build cohesiveness within your team.
Company core values are the guiding principles that define a company's culture and identity. They serve as a foundation for company's actions and behaviors and are used to guide employees and create a sense of shared purpose among stakeholders. They are an important aspect of company branding and used to measure performance.
Establishing core values within your business is crucial. You will use core values as a benchmark for hiring, firing, incentivizing, and other key decisions in your business.
It’s very important to go through the Core Values Exercise as a team.
This will help you:
- build core values that represent your business and company
- enhance team effectiveness by aligning everyone on the same page and moving in the same direction
- gain a deeper understanding of what your company represents and align it with the core values
For example, if someone comes in and you are considering hiring them but don’t meet your core values, then you’re not going to hire them. It does not matter how well they do their job, how dynamic they are. If they do not match your core values - you can not hire that person.
Or maybe you’re going to implement a service into your practice and it does not match your core values that you’ve established in your practice - then it’s easy, if it does not match the core values, you can not accept it in your practice.
